Hello everyone! I have not submitted my application yet, my husband lives here in Manila with me, but he is a naturalized Canadian citizen. We hired an agency to help us, Visa Processing Assistance Centre Phils, but they had problems daw with their Canadian counterpart so we are now back to square one I am a newbie here and your testimonies and questions help a lot. I just want to check:

1) We submitted to the agency our documents in April 2015, since these were not submitted, we'll have to refresh some of our documents to cover the past 4 months Do I need to refresh my NBI clearance, which I got on January 2015?

2) If I get pregnant in the middle of the application, will this cause a delay? I read somewhere that the medical exam requires xrays, which is not advisable to pregnant women, thus can only be completed only after you give birth.

police clearance po ung general term ng CIC. pag sa Philippines ang required ay NBI clearance.

Bakit kaya Application received pa rin ang status sa ecas? almost 2 months na rin since they got my passport.
How come its taking too long?

1. Obtain a recent clearance.
2. If hindi ka pa pregnant, you can do an upfront medical before you submit your application. Just note that medical is valid for one year. If you get pregnant, you cannot complete the medical and wait til you give birth. That would cause some delay.

hello carrotsg I'm being sponsored by my husband at 7mos preggy ako now. I did an upfront medical exam pero pinadeferred ko xray. Nag attached lang ako ng letter na I will complete the exam as soon as the baby is born. Gawa kana lang cguro ng explanation if ever you'll get pregnant

hi! nag IP ba yung ecas mo when they received your passport? pag nag DM na it means just wait for your passport kase malapet na ibalik sayo

I think yun yung general term ng CIC pero pag nasa pinas eh nbi clearance.kc yun yung Sinabi ng consultant officer namin...then yung police clearance eh pag nka work ka abroad

parang magkalapit lang timeline natin pero buti ka pa at my passport request na. I am sponsoring my husband and i am a canadian citizen pero until now status ko sa ecas is application received and medical received. the only email my husband received is ung request nya nag police clearance sa singapore. na submit nya na noong July 30 and until now wala parin

buti nga kayo nag passport request na sa hubby ko wala parin till now maybe kasi nag request sila ng police clearance nya sa Singapore. Praying na sana end of this month magkaroon na nag passport request sa kanya. kaka paranoid mag wait hehe pero we need to have faith na God will be the one to expedite yung papers natin.

Hi pineapple5678 and cutesilverangel oo nga halos magkasabay tayo. meron kasi kong kilala, sabay din kami nag apply, pero PR ung wife nya na nag sponsor sa kanya and may anak na sila, andon na sya 2 weeks ago pa. nareceived nya ung visa nya nung july 24. Sana next na tayo. Let's keep on praying.
