I am sponsoring my wife and we have been watching this thread from the sidelines. We've noticed a few of the people who filed at the same time as us on here see progress on their applications.
Here is our time line:

Application Submitted: Sep 20 2016
AOR1 Oct 18 2016
Sponsor approved Oct 26 2016
AOR2 Nov 2 2016
DOC request: Jan 22 2017
Medical: Upfront Aug 2016 Passed

The additional documents they were looking for is the Advisory on Marriage which we submitted a couple of days later.

As for Monday, family day is a provincial holiday. So that shouldn't cover the embassy as they should be federally regulated.

ECAS ba? Baka delayed lang yan. Approved na naman sponsor di ba.

Ecas account ko ginagamit ko ako sponsor prvc yong sa ecas ng misis ko DM na. Hindi parehas na DM di gaya kay ejac na DM pareho..

Ganun talaga. Sometimes delayed lang. Give it a day or two, mag-uupdate din yan. If you are still worried about your child, be prepared for whatever circumstances that might come out of it. Nevertheless, stay positive.

we almost have the same timeline theyve asked for addtional proof of communication jan 26 but no update since then lets just hope that we get our PpR on the coming days
