In my personal opinion, you have a good case and most likely the Applicant will be approved. The Affidavit you executed is a good gesture of showing you are an honest person Naisip ko lang na even without the Affidavit, as you are sponsoring your wife and "her child", as long as the Proof of Relationship is proven real and genuine, the Applicant will be approved as well as her dependent. But yes, the Affidavit will definitely help if in any case the visa officer would still ask for consent of either guardian or other parent of the child even if the father info on the BC is unknown.
Unless I am missing something, the above, as mentioned is my personal opinion

You mentioned na dependent ka ng Mom mo when you got your PR visa. Were you under 19 or under 22 years old during that time?
Sana nga po hindi magka problema pero im sure hihingi sila ng DNA kasi wala ako name sa BC ng bata, well d nman problema sa akin just in case na mag request sla dahil anak ko nman ang bata,
Sa ngayon Medical Received na status papers sa ECAS and im hoping na sana tuloy tuloy na po..
