Good day! May tanong po ako. Kasi yung marrriage certificate ko po iba po kasi yung address ko kasi minadali lang po (pinalakad sa munisipyo) and totaly iba ang address ko dun. And today may email yung embassy for personal history and address. Ano pong maipapayo nyo sakin? Ilalagay ko po ba yung address na nasa marriage cert ko or yung address ko lang na tinirahan ko lang talaga? Salamat po!

syempre ilagay mo yong address na tinirahan mo lang talaga.. and attach explanation letter kung bakit mag kaiba ang address sa married Cert mo.

Kasal po kami sa Canada and di pa namin na ereport yong marriage namin (as i know it doesn't really matter though coz i can do it later). Now, i need to renew my passport..
Required po ba sa renewal ng passport ang Report of Marriage?
Kailangan ko ba mag change status?
Change last name?
Ano po ba magandang gawin?

hi, still no update from VFS for me. But I submitted 2 days later than berna.
Si makeithappen yata yung nakita ko nagpost sa isang thread na nakareceive ng email from VFS kahapon.

Since, it's up to CIC to decide if tatanggapin ba nila ang x-ray mo, why don't you go for the sputum test para (wag naman sana) worst case scenario, may progress ka na if hindi man tanggapin yung x-ray na yun.


Another thing is, the fact na 7x ka nila inex-ray, it goes to show na hindi sila confident sa results nila. Bakit paaabutin ng 7x? Di ba dapat 2nd or 3rd pa lang may verdict na sila?

Umabot ng 7x kasi daw hindi clear yung mga naunang xrays. Hindi daw makita yung from 8 9 and 10 na buto. I guess yung sa chest bones. Or ribs ba yan.

I hope na iconsider ng embassy yung xray ko with the 2nd clear result. Hayyzzz! Walang katapusang stress.

1st. Kung magpaparenew ka ng passport at gusto mong palitan yung maiden name to married name. Need mo ng nso marriage certificate, and para makakuha ka ng nso you need to have your marriage reported para maregister dito sa nso.

2nd. Mas madali kung maiden name pa rin ang gamitin mo sa renewal ng passport.

Personal opinion ko lang ha

1st, I just renewed my passport this month and used my maiden name still. On the application for renewal, I put my status as "Married". Yes, I gave a copy of PSA (used to be NSO) Marriage Cert (MC) as one of the requirements and copy of Cert from CFO as requirement also for those married to foreign national.

2nd, If you haven't reported your Marriage back in Philippines, my suggestion is to try to have your MC authenticated by the Philippine Consulate. Usually naman there should be 5 or 6 original copies ng MCs to be signed during/after the wedding rites. Sa amin kasi after the ceremony kasi parang mas na-excite pa yung nag officiate ng wedding namin
