Hi newbie here my husband and i got married may 20 and we finally got our marriage cert. But we noticed there was an error sa citizenship ng husband ko at ung mother in law ko nakalagay kasi "FILIPINO" instead of "CANADIAN" tas ung first name naman ng mother in law ko nilagay nila is "CRISTINA" instead of "MaRY cristina". Though we applied na for petition pero sabi nila ndi daw sila sure kung maaapprove ung changes namin we need to wait for 4-5months for that. Ngaun we would like sana to start applying na pero we cant start because of that clerical error. Ang tanung ko is it okay to apply parin pero we will add a sworn affidavit explaining the descripancies of the document? It is so depressing kasi nadedelay ung application namin...

NOTE: This is just my opinion.

You can proceed with the application, better if you include a copy of the marriage cert and an affidavit. Para habang hinihintay ninyo yung approval ng petition, umaandar narin application ninyo. the first step anyway is the evaluation of your husband if he is qualified to sponsor you. Then kapag approved na siya itransfer sa manila yung application ninyo and usually doon na nila nirerequest mga additional documents. The average duration from filing of application to transfer of your documents to MVO is 2-4 months.

Missed quite a bit of new posts and back reading, I saw yours. Kelangan ba talaga married name na sa NBI clearance? My NBI will expire this October and I plan on getting a new one and that's what I will use when I send our application to CIC or CPC-M.

Anyone may respond. Please advise. TIA

As far as I know, dapat ay married name n po nakaindicate s NBI clearance, kasi baka magkaroon ng discrepancy kung maiden name p yung nakalagay dun since spousal application yun..opinion ko lang yun..tnx..

My NBI clearance was under my maiden name but I listed my married name on the 'other names used'

Hello pa help naman po, kasi wala po kaming picture ng asawa ko simula nung mag gf/bf pa lang kame since 09. And 2011 na po oldest picture namen, kasi lahat ng pic namen noon nasa friendster and nawala na friendster. Yung messenger naman may msgs since 2013 lang. Pano po un? Wala na po kame means of communication noon bukod sa text messeges. Pa help naman po, ito po yung email:

Maglagay ka lang ng mga pics niyo nung medyo bata pa kayo ang mahalaga is makita ng VO ung history niyo kahit man lang sa mga pics na issubmit niyo. April 2016 applicant ako. June 2 received my AOR2.

Anything they mentioned ie screenshots of convo, email, FB, etc,, if you have these, just do it. They just want to know and see more proof of your relationship This is also what I will be doing as I work on our application.

A cover letter explaining what you mentioned above will do when you send them whatever photos you have available. Anything they mentioned ie screenshots of convo, email, FB, etc,, if you have these, just do it. They just want to know and see more proof of your relationship This is also what I will be doing as I work on our application.

since kami mag asawa ay sa fb lang nag kakilala noong Jan 2015. then nag pakasal kami this year jan 2016 nag file kami application last march 3 sa application namin nag pasa ako ng mga ilang piraso ng wedding pic namin, screen shots ng mga convo/chats at ng mga videocalls namin sa facebook kasi wala naman kaming old photos tyaka dun naman kami tlaga nag start. ang importante po is gusto nila malaman ang katunayan ng relationship nyo mag asawa kahit mga ilan ilan lang po na photo wala namn po problema yun..
