hmmm about this. I am currently in the US and I'm worried about my passport getting lost in the mail all the way from here (I was planning on sending a return envelope via express FedEX to make the shipping quicker). I'm also wondering about the method of payment, they don't really have a lot of options listed on their website (since I don't have a Philippine bank and I obviously can't come and pay over the counter haha). I wonder if someone else can personally deliver my passport/documents and make the payment for me? Has anyone here done that? I already sent an email inquiry to VFS about my issue but they don't open until later tonight in my time.CC79 said:Hi,
There should be instructions on the letter sent by Manila Immigration on where to send the passport, either CEm or VFS.
If you're sending to VFS best to personally deliver, as you have to pay additional fees. If not I think you have to send the passport via courier, with a managers cheque for VFS amounting to Php 890.00
Ako po alam ko UCI# nya kahit ala sya aor2 kasi nun ngfile sya tourist visa nun eh same ang uci# nya.Mrs. C3 said:Hello po,
Out of curiousity lang po. Paano po malalaman ung UCI number ng PA kung hindi naman po nakatanggap ng AOR2?
Salamat po sa sasagot ;D
Have to admit, that stumped me. Im actually not sure how to go about that, but maybe it's ok for someone else to deliver the passport personally to VFS, as long as the correct payments are made and the correct passport is delivered. The only issue my wife encountered where I was thankful that she personally delivered her passport was that the picture she submitted did not pass the Canada visa standards. May be worth a try, if not then they can always send via courier anyways right?xabibella said:hmmm about this. As that's the good thing about submitting it personally since you'll know right away if something's wrong. I'd do that too but I don't have 2000 bucks to fly to Manila and be stuck there until they release my passport haha. By the way, how long did your wife wait to get hers back from VFS? Did they give her the option of what courier to use to send her passport back or did she pick it up in person too? I want to estimate when I should start seriously packing my things into boxesCC79 said:Have to admit, that stumped me. Hope that helps.
