Hi, we have the same exact timeline, the only difference is I was not requested additional documents like the advisory of Marriage from PSA (I have already included those on when we submitted the application primarily).
Still does not having any updates after the medical..

Lalo na pag ung mga kasabayan mo okay na tas ikaw wala pa naku nkakafrustrate.pero sana matapos na ung ganitong feeling.pwede bang ung nkakagaan nlang ng pakiramdam.

Samin it took them 1 week bago nila sinend ung ppr ni hubby. Dec.27 DM, Jan.3 ppr. You can always send an email sa mvo para mag follow up. Sa visa kasi ni hubby kahit Jan.3 ung ppr, Dec.27 ung visa issued date.

May 29, 2017- Additional Docs requested (original Baptismal Certificate/ school records/voter's id)

After submission of the additional documents..haaaay..waiting time game..so to those who are still waiting their PPR pray and really have patience..

just want to share this email regarding service fee on passport submission...

Dear Sir/Madam
Thank you for contacting Canada Visa Application Centre.

In reference to your email, below is our response.

VFS Canada Visa Application Center as approved by Citizenship and Immigration Canada collects a mandatory service fee for passport transmission in the amount of 576.00 Php.
Other optional service fees which you might find useful are as follows.
Courier fee 303.00 Php – return of passport to your preferred address
SMS fee – 69.00 Php – SMS or email notification (to keep track on the whereabouts and movement of the passport)\
Complete package totaling the above is 948.00 Php (576+303+69=948)
If you plan to send your passport together with the passport request letter via courier , payment should be in the form of a Manager’s Cheque made payable to VFS Services Philippines Private Inc.
Cash payment is only allowed for personal submission at the VAC.

to those who got PPR and have questions regarding their passport expiration which is less than 12mos I suggest its better to email MVO..as for my husband's case his passport is expiring this Nov 2018 PPR email date Jan 8 2018..technically its less than 12mos so I emailed MVO(using his acct) if the passport still meet the requirement..they replied and said its fine as long he leaves before the expiration of the Visa.

Sure do. Well I'm extending my expectation far beyond up to the 9th month - April
Getting my mind set up to that date, so no disappointments and frustrations. Just enjoying my little time left in the Philippines, anyways we are not in a hurry.. we are half way January... and looking forward with our country's summer heat and province travel staycation. Still waiting for school year to end for my kids

But if will get the good news the soonest that would be great!
