Submitted our application to Sponsor + PR on September 14 2015 to Mississauga office. Accepted to sponsor on December 1 2015. Hoping it will be sent to Manila promptly. Site says 16 months is the average processing time so hope we fall below or at least equal that time. Biggest advice I can give anyone for this whole process is to see a lawyer just for a review, took about an hour and cost $100ca. I am sure our application would have been sent back if I didn't do that, she made some corrections and offered great advice. So now we wait, actually planning my next trip out to Manila as I am typing this. Good Luck.

PPR almost means nothing. Many people here got PPR request and wait for over 6 months and counting.

That is absurd. My GCMS says security and criminal checks are in progress so I hope it will be done soon so they will ask for PPR and issue a visa right away. Im not really sure how the process works but I guess we just have to be positive
