Hi There Guys,

Maybe anyone here could give me an advise.
We just submitted our application for spouse sponsorship last July 2015.
And I already received an email from immigration office here in Canada saying that I am approved to sponsor my partner from the Philippines,
and they already forwarded our application to Canada Embassy Manila for further processing.

My question is can I have a vacation in the Philippines for a month?
so that i can spend more time with my family there and my partner?

I think you're only allowed 2 weeks per Canadian immigration law pero im not entirely sure as ive heard other people stay longer and had no problem. There's a little risk factor.

Hello, i have contacted the biological father of my child and based on our negotiation, he said he will sign the documents. We are set to meet this coming monday Oct 12, 2015 for him to sign. My next question is that is it okay if i will notarize it prior to the request of CEM? I have here the Declaration of Non-Accompanying Parent form. for example i notarize it this month october then cem has request december 2015. Will the dates be a big deal to them? does the notarized doc has to be dated later than the request? I want to have him sign now that he wants to because he has changeable mind so better sure that i could let him sign. Any advice? Thanks a lot!

hi sis. we have almost the same situation,pero sken naka sign ang biological dad sa BC- as per your post hindi sha naka sign right? kaninong last name sinunod ng bata? ang ginawa ko kase,upon completing the requirements inasikaso ko nadin yang declaration form. we both signed it in front of notary public. so pinass ko na sha all together sa app. na mail nio na ba app nio?

Helo sis, cellular po ginamit kasi hindi daw po nila macontact yung telephone number namin nung time na po kasi nun walang dial tone kaya tru cellular po sila tumawag, smart po yung gamit nung tumawag kaya medyo mahina yung pick up kasi globe user po ako, ayun medyo nairita yata sakin yung caller kasi hindi po kami gaanong nagka intindihan.

Taga CEM po, lalaki po yung boses, hindi pa po ako DM, tumawag lang po sila kasi nag ba bounce back daw po yung automatic email nila pag nag eemail po sila sa sponsor ko po. April applicant nmn po kami. July 2 pa po sa CEM yung passport namin..

Hello again, nakpirma ung tatay sis sa birth certificate. Okay lang ba kng papirmahin ko na sya this month na tapos saka ko ipapasa kpag hiningi na sa akin ng CEM? My vlidity ba ang notarized document?

just my thought maybe you should get two copies of different dates...

I also have the same situation but I filed for sole custody in the court...took me a yr to finished the whole process...

Ung wife ko nagtravel sya sa us during the sponsorship process. Prior po nun tumawag muna sya sa cic kung makakaapekto kung magtatravel sya, di naman daw. Pero 1 week lang po sya sa us
