PASSPORT RETURN

Hi Good Day po. Ask ko lang po sana kung ilang days ang return ng passport. I submitted mine thru VFS Makati on March 13. Until now wala pa po. DM na sa ecas same day ng PPR on March 09.

Quick question on the Schedule A background form I'm filling out in anticipation of the request from CIC. For the question:

Have you ever been refused admission to, or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?

we have been denied a TRV for my wife to visit Canada before submitting the sponsorship application, do I answer yes to this question? or is this questions asking if we have been denied admission by CBSA at the airport/border? also, in the in the provide further details area, would I just put refused temporary resident visa or do I also need to include the reason the VO refused the visitor visa or the application # for the TRV application we submitted?

I had TRV refusal too before spouse sponsorship , answered for that -NO. But you should answer YEs to another question regarding application.
That question kasi is regarding when you actually land or in canada not the time when you just applying for a TRV. I attached that letter of refusal and also add detail of purpose of that application. And i also put UCI#

Hi, pag nag fill ka ng forms, I suggest ilagay mo yung totoong name na ginagamit talaga ng mom mo. If ever lang you plan on sponsoring her in the future, dapat correct na yung name sa BC nya. To have it corrected, she needs to go sa local civil registry kung san registered yung BC nya. If under ng RA 9048 yung correction, within a few months maayos na din yan.

Ok lang naman siguro. Just say na lang na everything was already set for you to move and visa was already issued for your hubby nung nag move ka. Importante naman yung address na ibibigay nya kasi doon din imi-mail yung PR card nya.

hi survivor27, do you have idea how long it takes kapag correction sa first name at correction sa birthday (month and day)?

Sa correction of first name, thru Local Civil Registry (LCR) lang yan and approximately 3-6 or 8 months. About the birthday, sa pagkaalam ko need ng court petition yan which could take a year or so. Would suggest to have your Mom go to the LCR now pa lang kasi mas complicated yung case nya sa akin. Yung sa kin kasi middle name and yung maiden name ng mother ko and luckily, di na daw need ng court petition. Yun nga lang, few months pa din ang ipaghihintay ko to have my BC amended.

May nkita akong thread dto about changing intended location kaso mtgal n. Pwede nmn dw mgchnge ng updated address once at port of entry kasi mag ask daw ung officer ng address if the same. May nabasa ako n intended location nya is toronto tapos when he landed snabi nya sa vancouver ung address nya. Wala ksi akong nkitang updated. Db kasi ung pr card is federal. Yan din pgkakaalam ko. Yung family frnd ko dto tumawag sa cic about this, tapos sabi daw ng cic agent pwde nmn dw mgchange kasi yun nga dun i.mail ang pr card.

Tatawag nlng cguro ako sa cic next week. Makitanong ulit. Haha. May alam din kya ang MP mga ganitong rules? Kasi may MP mlapit dito sa place ko. 5 min drive.

Parang nabasa ko nga din yun dati and so my earlier response As long as maibigay ni hubby mo yung correct address upon landing kasi nga doon isisend sa address na ilalagay nya yung PR card nya

D pa kami nka book ng flight. Naghintay muna kasi kami na maibalik ung passport nya with visa. But nagplan na kami next month na xa aalis.
