1st Application - End of May 2021 (GCMS noted revealed, not even eligibility check was started)
2nd Application - 18th Sep 2021 (Again using GC Key)
Passport Request - 24th Sep

1st Application was automatically withdrawn after PPR on 2nd. Also got a letter saying a refund is not possible on 1st application as some processing has been done. I am really happy there is a positive outcome, not too concerned about the visa fees.

Hi all,

My husband applied online ('old portal' GCkey) on the 29th of august.
Letter for biometrics : 30th of august.
Biometrics done: 7th of september
AOR for the biometrics: 22nd of september
TRV approved: 23th of September.

We didn't re-apply after the changes made on the 7th.

I hope things will move fast (and in the good direction) on your end.

Hi there! Can you share which visa office you applied through? And what is AOR for biometrics? Do they send that to everyone who has applied for TRV or is it for spousal applications only?

My timelines are similar to yours. Just that we did the biometrics on Sep 14, so a week after you. I was contemplating all this while if I should resubmit but after seeing your response, I don't think I will. Thanks so much for sharing.

It is very confusing how the visa process is being because I have seen cases that apply in August and are approved in less than 1 month. My first application for my mother's visa was in May and the second on September 12 and I have not received any updates.

mine was Dec 2020 and haven't heard anything. i'll re apply again next month

My timeline I am on PGWP , PR for me and wife under process cec), I am inside Canada.
Applied for wife’s visitor Visa, she is an international student in UK( pakistani pssport and have valid usa visa)
First application : 18 feb 2021
Biometrics: 2 march 2021
Second application : 13 sep 2021 via new portal.
Passport request : waiting….

I applied from ircc new portal and my purpose of visit was to meet my wife who is on study permit. I already had a usa visa so did not submit any financial docs.

Is this a tourist visa or spouse open work permit??

I applied on june 2020, i re applied on sep 22 and yesterday my old application was refused and new application has updated my uci number, is it normal.???
