Dear friends,
I sent a Case specific enquiry to New Delhi Visa Office, through the web link :-
https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=new delhi
As I have already received a 2nd AOR and status of my application is RBVO since the last 2 months, I wanted to update VO about the change in my family circumstances. I wanted to inform VO about birth of a baby boy and hence used the Case Specific Enquiry to update the family composition. I clearly mentioned my file number, my son's name, his date of birth, my address and D.O.B etc. I also enclosed as attachments, scanned copies of the following :-
1) my son's birth certificate
2) Fee of CAD $ 150 payable to Receiver General for Canada
3) Updated family information forms signed by both me and my wife
4) fee payment form duly signed
5) Photograph (jpeg image) of my son
Further, I explained Visa Office that since I have applied for my son's passport and have not received it, I would be sending copies of that to Visa Office As Soon As Possible (on its receipt) and asked Visa Office about the procedure to follow in order to add the new born to the application. (I have been guided by friends and seniors on this forum about the procedure, but yet I posed this question to Visa Office in order to gain some time to obtain the infant's passport while they reply back with the procedure )
But heyy....unfortunately, the Visa Office seems to be sleeping and ignoring all communication from the applicants...To my amazement, I got a reply on my email within a couple of hours of sending the Case Specific Enquiry which is as follows :- This is a very general acknowledgement :-

It has been one month and 1 week since then and I have been waiting to hear something from the VO about my enquiry
Seems like some miracle is going to wake the officials at NDVO

Comments are invited from people having same experience with NDVO..
