What all education proofs are required while submitting FSW application in Delhi?
Do I need to arrange certificates of all of the secondary eductaion?
or
Is that just the certificates of 10th, 12th and graduation?

Hello Everyone

Kindly help me understand the following, if you have come across this situation:

1. My medical request form says, please submit the black and white negatives of passport sized photograph (preferably the one you submitted along with the application).

My photos were taken in a digital format, and I have no clue as to how to get a negative for that? Is there a way out?

2. Finally, they have asked me to send the RPRF along with Passport, and related documents via secure mail.

My question is when they say "secure mail", are they talking about Registered Post/Speed Post only? Can they be sent via courier also such as Blue Dart, Fedex, DHL etc?

Will be thankful, if you can guide me on these.

Thanks
Madhava

Ans to your 2 question is Blue Dart has an option where you can send your passports.

Send certificates as well. You have to send complete set of educational documents which you get. For 10th and 12th you have to send certificates also.

Dear Madhava,

Many people in this forum had already experienced the same problem with negatives. Most of the studios take only digital photographs and most of us would have sent digital photos with our full application to ND visa office. I think there is no problem if you take a new photo negative and use it for medicals. The instructions say" preferabley" the old photo, so it is clear that it is not mandatory to use the old photo. Chuppilad has more experience on this and lets wait to see what he says on this.

You can use Bluedart, when you send the passport, please declare that the parcel contains passport, and you need to sign some forms. Thank you

Hi Nit4canada,
congrats for ur success on getting pr . can u please solve some of my query?
1.birth certificate : Is 10 or 10+2 certificate indicating DOB is sufficient?
2.settlement funds: for two adults and two children(under 18 years) is it two persons or four persons ?
3.work exp : is salary slip necessary alongwith reference letter?
Kindly guide me on above questions.

Hi Paramjith, i have read your post a bit late and sorry for the delay in responding..

Chuppilad has already replied to your queries and i fully agree with Chupilad..You can use 10th certificate, biodata page of your passport, notarised copy of PAN Card, Election identity card which specifies your age on the date of issue of the card as alternative evidence for the birth certificte. Please give multiple evidence from different sources to establish your age.

You need to provide proof of settlement funds for 4 persons, and as Chuppilad has already stated, please provide as many evidence to establish your paid work experience. Work reference letters, pay slips for different period, Income tax returns, job contracts, etc.. will serve the purpose. Thank you..

Hi Madhava,

Pls note that negative is a must for the medicals while they are taking the x-ray and should not be bypassed. Hope it is clarified.

If no studio takes film photos, you may take using any point and shoot camera and get the negative developed in any studio.

All the best.

Hi Rocky2727227 and others

NOS 3215
NS applied: 2nd April 2009
Request for final documnts 31 st May 2009
Documents sent :august 8th 2009
DD cashed 21 st august 2009
request for medicals : 6th october

I submitted my final documents and RPRfees on 8th August at New Delhi and received request for Medicals on 6th October 2009.
They have given me a 45 days timeline for submission of Medicals.
The hitch is that now I am posted in London .
I shall have to go back to India for the Medicals as they are very expensive in London.

The hitch is that in the begining of the letter they have requested for my passport with my Medicals and at the end of the letter they have asked me not to send the passport unless requested separately.
I am all confused .If I send my passport with my Medicals I cant come back to London to rejoin my job.

Please advise, senior members

Hi Mokshagji15, Congrats .... for the medicals and PPR. Please share your timeline with us

Hi Drngd, Congrats for the medicals and the PPR. You can take medicals from a DMP either in India or in London. Eventhough it is expensive in London, if you calculate the to and from airfares there may not be much difference. If you are taking the medicals from London, you should clearly mention that you are presently in London as part of your work, so that the ND visa office knows about that. Since the first part of the letter mentiones about the passport, you may send the passport to the ND visa office..

This is my personal opinion and you may wait for seniors to respond..
