Hi guys....has any one got rejection after Medicals ? Actually I have a 2 months of notice period in my company. So I am planning to resign once my medical is done. Can you guys please give your suggestions.

We have one year period to plan your immigration after your PR comes.
So if I were you, I will wait for PR in hand and then plan my further move.

Brother why not just wait - I don't think it would be a problem if you were to resign and concentrate all your energy into migrating. Either way you will be holding a maple leaf stamp in your passport. After medical folks who have got rejection must be having some medical issue or must be borderline cases who must be depending on VO's discretionary point and did not get them.

Hi Imran,

I also have 2 months notice period. I am planning to resign within same week of receiving VISA. I do not want to take chance with current job.

So advice will be to wait for VISA and then resign. You can check ur leave balance and accordingly reduce notice period. Check your HR policy......... Rgrds Vicky

Hi Sans, I e-mailed them on 12th Dec and their reply is dated 31st. I knew its futile making an inquiry, but since i do need my passport urgently i felt compelled to write.

Hello People

I am expecting people who are completing 45 days in this week should receive their passport by early next week - ofcourse this analysis* includes the folks who have more days next to their submission date. So up to Jatt all should receive their passports by early next week. the rest would have to wait for another couple of weeks.

* Analysis based on taking 45 days (upper limit of 60days) as average and discounting the fact that none of the passports were processed in the last 15 days of December. ;D ;D ;D ;D
