No brother...Like i said....medical recd line may not come at all....I haven't seen that line with cases filed in CHC ND....I never got that line....though they took 6 months to issue me the VISA...but that was because i had lived in Middle east.....Then ....I know a lot of people who never got that line and their VISA came in 45 - 60 days which is a normal time line....yes they do background check and quite frankly they keep you on your toes till the time you get the VISA....chances of getting VISA after passport submission are quite high so don't worry....and i think because of that line not being there in that status will not delay the VISA....

completed medicals on 30 Nov according to the DMP information they told immediately it will be despatched through courier
PPR on 17 Nov along with MR /RPRF
just today despatched PP / DD(RPRF) / Med-receiptsnow i wish to know within how many days the DD is encashed

hello. can somebody help me. i wish to know if the new delhi visa office will allow extension for submitting the medicals, passport and right of landing fees by one more month. my passport is getting expired and i have applied for renewal.but it will take 1 more month to renew it. and i am supposed to submit the documents before december 15th. i have emailed this matter to the visa office .but i did not get any reply from them. has anybody been in a similar situation.can you please advice me. thanking you, with regards, joy

You should have applied pp renewal in tatkal scheme, which gives you new passport in 10-15 days.

Or use a reliable agent !

I just did mine and got the pp renewed last month with in 15 days.

No i have not got that line. But as per the CIC website, the only status after In Process is Decision Made, which includes medicals received, approval status determined and PR status determined.

Actually, my initial application was for me, my wife and one kid. Later on we had another kid. But before i could add the second kid to my application, we got medicals request for the three of us. The medicals for three of us and the papers for the second kid's addition were sent at approximately the same time. And within two weeks i got a call from CHC saying they had received medicals for the three of us and will be sending the medical form for the second kid via email. In that email, i got the medical form for the second kid AND the request for submission of passports AND proof of funds for family of 4. So, the medical for second kid was done in the week ending 26th November and all 4 passports were received by the VO by 29th November, along with the proof of funds.

A bit confusing, no?
