Hi Sandeep, Jain & Daash,
You can't say anything about this. They can call interview , check background etc at any time in your application process.
One can't be sure with them. I got interview call after submitting my pp, medicals, and RPRF . It's matter of chance only. And I don't think they send any interview wavier letter at any time.

Even after encashment of RPRF...yours was encashed when you got call?

Thats a standard reply buddy ...I kept getting it for 2 months.....

I got e-mail replay form visa officer : "Kindly note that your application is final stages and finalize shortly"

Hi jainanshal,

Rejection is rarely happen after submitting pp and mr.

Background checks take place after submission of pp and mr.

My background checks are still going on even after expiry of my medicals. Still dont know that how much time it will take?

No brother...Like i said....medical recd line may not come at all....I haven't seen that line with cases filed in CHC ND....I never got that line....though they took 6 months to issue me the VISA...but that was because i had lived in Middle east.....Then ....I know a lot of people who never got that line and their VISA came in 45 - 60 days which is a normal time line....yes they do background check and quite frankly they keep you on your toes till the time you get the VISA....chances of getting VISA after passport submission are quite high so don't worry....and i think because of that line not being there in that status will not delay the VISA....

I have got my DD encashment receipt through snail mail on 18th november . But till now medicals received line has not yet been added on my Ecas .
does it means that their will be delay in getting my passport with maple leaf . do they go for any background verification by this time also ? . When can i expect my passport with maple leaf ..
any idea on this ..

Quite blandly buddy.....No one know ...how long do they take....i have seen ppl getting it in 9 days....i took 6 months....there are ppl still waiting for a pp return...Normally takes about 45 days to 60 days....but if you are lucky then may be a lot earlier and if you are unlucky then may take a lot of time....but would say 45 days is the average..

I have not got Medicals Received Line in my ECAS till date although they were submitted on 14th Nov by DMP......DD encashed on 16th NOV.......anyone in same boat? Neither i have Received my Receipt........

How did all your medicals go? Was it good? What are the procedures and what do they ask?

Bit worried. Recently checked my BP it was 150/90 and not taking any medication? Is it a need for concern?

Used to wear spects before, had slight shortsight but i discarded it around 4 years ago since i felt comfortable without it. Should i get my eyesight checked and get new glasses? Is there a need for that?

Any suggestions will be helpful...

Hi Angel31,

Nothing to be worried about medicals, basically its a simple health check up. It includes chest xray, blood tests, urine test and consultation. The dmp will ask you about any previous ill ness, like tb or liver diseas. Bp is a common disease, infact not have significance for you. You must go alongwith your eye glasses for medicals.

You can go for pre medicals at any diagnostic centre, if you wish to check yourself on your behalf.
