Yes you r rite.......! any ways no other option than waitinggggggggggggg. I was just wondering if my answer means that they have not even started the processing yet (my passport & medicals reached CHC, ND on 10 Nov, 2010 and RPRF on April 22, 2010) ....?

Vidya may be your are better placed as they have not mentioned about the team and processing....they have just told you that review by the VO is pending..you never know as they are unpredictable...but the keyword again is wait....hope you will get the VISA shortly....god bless

so with this timeliness i can guess CHC is following only file transfer date not the date of passports submission.
i may not be correct....

No Vidya they would have started processing according to the e-mail they sent me .....the team does its part...the medical officer...security guy and other ppl....then it goes to some team for final processing once they are through VO reviews and takes a decision.....as they have told you waiting for the final review by the VISA officer....so may be you are better placed ....but as we all know ......we have to keep waiting till D-Day....

Don't know brother....CHC seems to be working according to file transfer date but when it comes to be all the logics goes for a toss.....i have understood one thing......that i don't know how they work.....you just have to wait till you get it

generally in embassy there will be 3-4 lawyers to give the PR
basing on the individual lawyer reviewing style the PR will be issued.
that is why no one can guess on stamping.

Thanks for your prompt reply. But you see the line bothering me is "currently awaiting review by a visa officer" and as per your comment it will go to Processing Team after it get clearance from VO. I do not have word FINAL Review in my reply.

No it is the other way around....it goes through the team first....then VISA officer looks at the file and takes a decision....then sends the file for stamping....

i have an update...but it isn't a good one though...

I had sent an enquiry to CHC, through my consultant, on the status of my passport and indicated them that I might have to travel for business purpose in the mid of Jan 2011.

CHC new delhi readily sent our passports without stamping ... .. The passports reached my address very late (postal delay) and I could not travel because of not having the passports on time. I stated the same reason and resend the passports to CHC and requested to continue processing......

Hmmmm as i said brother they have a standard reply they are giving to everyone.....they want you to be totally frustrated before you go there so that you find nothing else frustrating enough once you are in canada.....its like a training for hardships ahead

Very well said! We have to be very patient. In case we want to force the issue, we have to be prepared for all consequences (its really sad that CHC returned thomas78's passports without stamping after keeping them for more then 2 months). It is futile trying to guess their way of working. They are unpredictable.
