New Delhi Passport Tracking Thread

Is it necessary to check the receipt of medicals from DMP to CHC. when we are through agent/self and we/agent should have received mail from CHC asking the same, in case if they dont receive the Medicals in 45 days time. Correct me if I am wrong here. What are the chances of slip ?

It is not necessary ..You can directly contact DMP to check and get the courier tracking number .

But I guess sending medicals after 15 days(as in our case) can cause un necessary delays , So, All those going for medicals ..request your DMP to send the medicals asap ! .

i got reply from CHC for my enquiry e-mail. i am here copying their reply.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

This file is currently pending final review by the responsible processing team and a decision by the officer. As soon as the review has taken place, our office will contact the applicants in case any further documentation or information is required. If the officer is satisfied all requirements have been met, visas will be issued, following which we will return the passports to the applicant by registered mail. Kindly note that it can take several days for registered mail to reach its destination.

Please be advised that all statutory requirements must be met before we can issue visas. We therefore cannot provide you with a precise date by which this application will be finalized and the passports returned. Your continued patience is appreciated. We can assure you that we give the highest processing priority to cases which are ready for visa issuance for which passports have been submitted. Until we contact the applicant, either to request additional documents or information or to return the passports, we will not be able to respond to further enquiries.

I am also sailing in the same boat. My application dates are almost like your application dates.
A month back, I have also sent an e-mail to them regarding my status and I have got the same reply from CHC. Word to word is same with your reply.

I was also tensed because of this reply. but after your quote, now i came to know that this is their pre-defined template. So dont worry and do let us know when your status gets updated.
