Please don't get frustrated. You will definitely get visa. How long it takes is anybody's guess. As great Qorax says they know which cases to dig deeper. Let them dig deeper and deeper. We don't have anything to hide.

Will again say brother don't know as everyone is waiting so according to me its not digging deep its about being slow....lets see as all of us are in the range of 75-90 days.......

Hi Naavy sir,

Had u got the call again?? what did she asked?? Even my husband got the call from CHC as I had already told.....bt it was on 22/12/2010...

First they called on our main landline but that phone is dead and after they called up on the other alternative number . There was a lady on the otherside and asked about me and my wife . She said that she is calling from CHC and wanted to talk to any one of us i.e me or my wife ..but as both of us were not at home we were not able to attend thier call . she said that she will call after 1 hour but till now I have not received any call .

Naavy it is sad you missed the call...I understand the anxiety because i had missed a call in the past....well i would say keep your telephone numbers up n running because they may or may not call you again....they never called us after we missed the call.....i have they normally call in the morning....around 8:30-9 AM....so be on your feet during that time frame....Good luck brother

We received that call at 9 AM ..Did they infromed you that they will call you again ?.

I could never get to that ...Me and my were in chandigarh .....they called at gurgaon house as that was the number given to them.......Once the call was over my dad called back the number then we got to know that it was CHC.....My wife called back the same number ...operator told her if they feel like they will call again....she cannot connect to the VISA officer....to our good luck they did not call back and issued the medicals/PPR.....but we are attentive from 8:30-9:30 in the morning and try not to miss any call...

Why CHC is calling you, when they already received passport, RPRF for Visa stamping?

CHC is really unpredictable.

I am sending my passport in a day or two. Do I need to attached the sticker on the packet or on the covering letter?

No they call people even if they have asked for Medical/PPR...as a matter of fact our DMP told us to write our mobile numbers behind the passport copy....i asked why she said you have given your landline number in case they need to ask you something you will have an availabilty surety...i asked do they call she said yes they can if you have to confirm something or ask....like gauri recd a call regarding her ability to travel till 20 Jan....could be anything....

If you are talking about the Bar code....then i would say do it on the passport....outside......the Blue Cover of the passport....I did not stick the bar code....I placed a white sticker over the passport...mentioning my File number....Date of Birth.....and name.....similarly for my wife.....it was suggested to me by the consultant.....

But not for document verification like they do prior to get inprocess or receive medical.
