Yesterday i have received my passport with copr and docs submitted.
I was busy partying last nite and got up late today before giving this update to you all.
Details:
Visa stamp date: 03-May 12
Valid till: 03-Feb-12( As per medical 1 year validity i guess) rest info in my profile badge (let me know if i need to fill something more)

Thank you all for the support and the motivation. In all it's taken a little over 10 months from start and i must say i am so privileged as there are so many deserving candidates waiting for longer than me but CHC is playing with their time. My prayers for you friends. My desire is to establish myself in snowland and meet with as many of you guys and laugh this ordeal off over drinks/coffee. May the man/women above make your dreams come true soon.

my medicals reached on 16th jan and passports reached on 27th jan..since then waiting for stamping.....

we have same timing....... but i got this email 27/04/2012 after long waiting of process.................Request you to please provide us with your INDIAN MAILING ADDRESS, as we do not mail passports outside India/Nepal. Since we are in the final stage of finalizing your application, your response per return would be appreciated..................but after now mu ecas in process......i send my complete address and they received on 1 may already by blue dart.......

i have a query do we have to get a DM status in ecas to receive our passport nd visa back or we can receive it way before the DM status in ecas?pl guide???

It's not necessary that you get your DM "before" your passports. There are friends here that have rcvd the PPs and DM on the same day...and there have been a couple of cases (very rare though) who rcvd their PPs before DM.

By the way you sent your mailing address details thru bluedart? Isn't a CSE good enough for address updation? Please do let me know.

Hello Emaan, when did NDVO rcv your passports? And what is your RPRF DD encash date?

It's not necessary that you get your DM "before" your passports. There are friends here that have rcvd the PPs and DM on the same day...and there have been a couple of cases (very rare though) who rcvd their PPs before DM.

By the way you sent your mailing address details thru bluedart? Isn't a CSE good enough for address updation? Please do let me know.

thanks...but they told me to send my mailing address at given address of Canadian high commission.....i dnt know about cse? my all mails coming to my consultant email id at canada and he told me to send by bluedart...i write my full address on white paper and with the letter they send to me with reply..

Well these are the docs u will get:

1) Passports with visa ( obviously) It will have visa type - IMIGRANT, your name and validity of 1 year from medicals. Please note the visa does not have any picture. Just text (i think the new visa has a little less maple on it. )

2) COPR Document ( Single large A4 size page with photocopy): In it will be the same details as above and also there might be a clause if there is any condition. Your medical score. A very clumsily pasted photo of the applicant and a section below for landing officer to fill when you land.

3) A few pages of important info that you need to know. This is the same for everyone and most of the info there is already available on this forum.

4) All your original docs ( Work letters, salary slips, ielts TRF etc)

5) The receipt for your draft encashment if they haven't sent it already.

Yup that's all in one big yellow envelope that you will get.

I tend to think that your PPs will be with you very soon. This is a very positive sign. Them asking for your mailing address. So you may wait for the coming week and if you do not heard from them till then, maybe your agent could send a CSE (Case Specific Enquiry).
