many say Canadian Address replaces the Indian Address.
Would anyone please enlighten?

Hello All,

I've been following this forum for long now but have not really posted much. Really all the good news, the doubts, the predictions and all general discussions are very helpful and completely confidence boosting. So much like many of us here, I am also in the same boat. I completed my medicals and submitted my passports and RPRF on the 30th of December 2011. Since then the waiting game has begun. On Feb 2012, I got a further request for a PCC which I was unable to provide initially. I have supplied them with a letter from the Indian embassy in Qatar (which is from where I was unable to obtain a PCC) who have cleared me of any criminal offence and I submitted it to NDVO. Since then, I've continued my wait up until now.

How long will this wait do on? Me and my family is now in the Caribbean with no passports and we are really worried. Also, when we submitted the passports, we were here only for two months but now, it has crossed the 6 month mark. Do you think we will be asked to submit new PCCs from here?

Awaiting your replies.

Thank you!

When you log in to ECAS, right under your name, you will find your current address (sometimes the add disaapears even for months....like mine).

So after getting your DM (Decision Made after Medicals) you will find the address changed to the City and Province in Canada that you have chosen to migrate to.

Trust this clarifies.

Hey thanks rrramon.yup hanging on and on dear.thanks for replying.just to add on there was problem in my dd.so they sent it back and I had to send another one on 16th april which got encashed on 21st.does this encashment of dd has any relevance that medicals are ok or visa on the way..i,m worried as no medical updates line in my ECAS. :'(

Your draft query has already been answered rather well by Ramon.

About the Meds Rcvd line in ECAS. When that line appears it means they have rcvd your med reports and also approved it. But then there are people like RKC who never saw the Meds Rcvd line on her ECAS and she's got her Visa. So there's nothing to worry. Like Ramon says, if you found that you are fit during your meds witht he DMP, you ARE fit. And also if there had been anything wrong you'd have heard from them right after. So in your case there's nothing to worry I believe.

Had you lived in Qatar for more than 6 months?

You are in the Caribbean?? WOW...I'd love to visit sometime :) That is my dream vacation!

About PCC from the Carribean...now that's tricky. I would suggest you wait for the VO to ask for a PCC from there. However please look up the main page and look for threads on this subject. I am sure there will be many. Just to be sure.

All the best to you!

It has been seen when DM is made on or after that ECAS shows on top the details of your address which is not the place where you are currently living. Its the place which you have shown where you will land. People take it as a positive sign to their application which it is indeed (at least till now)

And yes ... Finally today i got my PPT with Visa.

Thanks to GOD and thank you to everyone out here . I wish every one all the best and I am sure those who are waiting will get it soon too.
