Everything is over, Medical Received line also appear in Ecas on 05.03.2012...now what is left to review so they are taking this much time.

Not able to understand. Praying god that within this month everything will be finalized.

Thats the processing fee Manpreet.

What about the landing fee (its called Right of Permanent Residence Fee RPRF)? It comes to Rs.24010 per adult applicant. Kids need not pay. And this HAS TO be paid by DD. Credit card is not accepted. And this is paid at the Medical and Passport stage.

Please check Manpreet. I just pray you aren't missing something here. Do write in for any further clarification that you might need.

hi..i m working at Canada from last three and half here and came here to submit passport. we did medical on 12/12/2011 and i submit passport on 27 Jan 2012...i submit my and my spouse passport all together...my online status is medical done and in process and i got this email 27/04/2012 after long waiting of process........Request you to please provide us with your INDIAN MAILING ADDRESS, as we do not mail passports outside India/Nepal. Since we are in the final stage of finalizing your application, your response per return would be appreciated.....can u tell me how long still take after sending my mail address?? i already send to then on 28/04/2012....my online status is still same in process

About 10 days (+ or - a couple of days). Another friend from the forum also got a similar mail (he had also rcvd a phone call). This is a very positive sign. It means they have already stamped your Visas and are waiting to dispatch them.

Lets hope that you will get DM by this month and PP back with Maple leaf.

In my case, i hope that first PP request will come within this month, than DM & PP backw ith maple leaf on it.

No Interview, but yes re-medical was there for my wife. which is completed and after reaching re-medical report only Medical Received line appear in e-case.

Even all the requested documents such schedule form, travel history all submitted on January 2012.

Yes i got PP request along with MR and even i have submitted my PP also. I requested them to i need PP by Mid feb 2012 to renew my son visa for Kuwait. For that they returned all our pp. So now i am waiting for PP request.

STATUS UPDATE:

My e-cas has finally shown the Canadian address a few minutes back. So i guess it is true that your e-cas can be updated anytime and not just on Tuesday's. I'm sure this is a positive sign.

Somehow I have a feeling that my wait is going to be over soon. (Hopefully this week)

Also i'm not sure but i guess the letter I dropped of at CHC on Thursday might have something to do with it as well. Btw one of my queries in that letter was also about the missing address.

Yes i did see a lot of positive activity in the MI 3 thread. But i'm jun-2011 applicant so i really haven't participated much there.
But whatever the delays were at NDVO they seem to be getting over. Next week seems promising. Lets hope for the best for everyone.

Also please let me know of any other thread you know of that has a similar buzz happening right now. It's always good to read positive comments and updates from people.

But no updates in ecas status.

Also buddy. Your timelines seem really fast and if everything is in order you should get through soon. There are a lot of people before you who are just now getting DM's and all.

Hey thanks rrramon.yup hanging on and on dear.thanks for replying.just to add on there was problem in my dd.so they sent it back and I had to send another one on 16th april which got encashed on 21st.does this encashment of dd has any relevance that medicals are ok or visa on the way..i,m worried as no medical updates line in my ECAS. :'(

Well draft encahsment is a good sign it is not the penultimate guarantee like a DM status with an Canadian address, but it does mean your one step closer and nearer to the Maple candy.

Btw there are a lot of threads in this forum that have this draft encashment discussion. I personally haven't read anywhere about someone being refused visa after draft cashing. Its just the time line that is subjective here and it has very little bearing with this.

As far as medicals the best i can say is if you feel there is nothing wrong with you then there is nothing wrong with your medicals. And if there is something wrong (god forbid) then you would have known by now. Trust me its very rare if you are ok.
