Hi everyone,
Is there anyone waiting for stamped visas for more than 4mths. We sent our pprt/med/rprf around last week of nov 2011 to ndvo, rprf was encashed In 3rd week of dec'11. The ecas status was changed to "med received" in first week of jan'12. We haven't heard back from them yet. We sent a reminder to the CHC around 10 days back but no reply has been received so far. How much longer do we have to wait still? Is the visa stamping really taking that long these days? Could there be any problem with our case?
Please guide

Hello....getting a bit tensed now. My concern is if my DMP's and my documents have reached the NDVO correctly.

My DMP's courier reached on 13th March (Professional Couriers online tracking says it was delivered on 13th)

My medical report copy, PPs, RPRF, PCC reached NDVO on 20th March (Professional Couriers online tracking says it was delivered on 20th)

But no update on eCas which currently shows: 'In Process' >> "We received your application on xxxx. We started processing your application on xxxx".

Any advice/suggestions from anyone?

"The Delay after Passport is sent"

This has been happening to some other CHC's around the world like in London, Singapore

I forgot but I was posting in a similar thread where someone else was getting impatient due to the delay of getting his passport returned back from the CHC. Earlier in 2011 CHC's have returned passports in a month but these days they are taking 6-8 weeks. if MR's tracking says that it reached safely to the CHC then stay relaxed. I guess CHC's have been ordered to make delays for some obvious reasons. it could be due to the GCMS system, Security, Extra bureaucratic matters, could be anything.

Hi J.P

Even I m going thru the same situation. I submitted my passports on 21 feb 2012 along with medicals n rprf. My rprf was encashed on 9th march. I have sent about 3 emails n 2 faxes to NDVO about my application status and havent heard back from them. Even my ecas status is still in process and they havent added medicals recived.....dont know what to do. I am just on the verge of losing my job in Australia because of this 2 months wait. Didn't expected that it will take that long.....:-(

hey..i submitted my pp's on 4th Feb 2012 with med and rprf....rprf got encashed on 22nd or 23rd feb(not remembring xact date)medical line added on 12th march
....from that day.. till now no response from NDVO.......tired of waiting..... :'(

May be they dont want these people to Land Canada before June 2012 which is the last month of CIC's 2011. Remember, they have increased the quota in FSW/Economic category for 2012.

agree with you....but something strange cming up only fsw1 seems to be waiting....i know of a guy in fsw2 category passport sent in feb and rec back with stamp on less than a months time...

CHC's are verifying the latest PoF's, Checking for final security clearances, may be something else. Feels like they have brought some changes at this stage where things could take more time. I'd try to analyze if two guys sent the passports at the same time with same FSW1 category and one got the passport early and one still waited. RPRF cashed means its the positive sign.

It is tuesday today.....has anyone got Decision Made?

Not yet, as per my info......lets hope for the best

Iv never heard of DM's on tuesdays...... its been a long wait now...
i hope the cause of this delay is not bec of processing of 2008 applicants...
RPRF encashed is the only positive sign which gives relief.....
i hope we get to hear something very soon :(
