Is it good idea to take a letter from MP in canada in support of your application like confirming the genuinees of the marrige ?

no use. your eligibility will be based on the supporting documents they asked in the document check list. MP letter is useless to prove the genuinity of your relatioship

congratulations and did you recieve the email ?
Email to PA stating there is a message in GC key. Pre-arrival letter was in there.
I agree with aby1098.
In fact you can take letters from your friends and family who know about your relationship for more time. I think that would be more beneficial.
In our case, we attached couple of gift envelopes what we received in our reception with best wishes.
Follow the check list and give as many supporting docs as possible mentioned in checklist.
