My file was being processed at ndvo. The pre arrivals mail is a general mail from cic. I received a call on 28-02-2019 from ndvo asking about how i met my husband. They requested for additional photos as well.

Is there any recent case where the applicant is invited for an interview after the Pre-arrival letter?

I think Pre-Arrival means visa officer has approved the applicant as eligible to proceed. No more interview or additional docs required, or do we?

For me, request for additional documents is pending since October 20th 2018. There is a line in the GCkey like "we need additional documents and we will be sending the communication shortly". they want birth certificate as per GCMS notes but i have already submitted 10th marksheet with voter ID copy with my application. Its actually confusing.

@singleman I think you are incorrect..NDVO is going by month application was received not by transfer date as I got confirmation from some people whose files transferred in Jan but were July applicants who just got PPR.

Then much better for us we are JULY applicants , I guessed from their file transfer dates, many JULY applicants are waiting but 1 was picked up as her file was moved in OCT, so I guessed they are up to OCT

very correct but now they make some guys wait a month after pre-arrival which used to few days

I submitted through email for additional docs months ago, and they still say "we need additional docs...". I wouldn't worry about it.
