Update on my daughter's (Infant, NDVO) timeline:
Application received : 4 May 2018
AOR : 9 Jun 2018
Medical request : 15 Jun 2018
Medical check performed : 25 Jun 2018
SA : 26 Jun 2018
Medical passed: 29 Jun 2018
Pre-arrival services mail: 10 Aug 2018
PPR: 13 Aug 2018
Application received : 4 May 2018
AOR : 9 Jun 2018
Medical request : 15 Jun 2018
Medical check performed : 25 Jun 2018
SA : 26 Jun 2018
Medical passed: 29 Jun 2018

Hey guys got my GCMS today. Surprisingly within 3 weeks of requesting it.
Not surprsing that NDVO hasn't even touched the application since it was transferred in April 2018. My notes mention that case was held for back office Pilot program just like so many other NDVO applicants.
Interesting notes below: -
Organizations under associations left blank under s 15(1)
AOR 2 / File Tranfer email on April 10 and this was created on June 08
Back office Pilot:-
Initially Secondary office was NDVO and now changed to CPCM with NDVO now the Primary office.
Medicals and Criminality have passed. Security not started.
My file currently is at :
Please feel free to comment on any of the GCMS sections for me to better understand. NDVO guys DON'T order GCMS unless at least 8/9 months after submission. The notes section has no hidden elements which is good. The officer's notes are very general. No mention of satisfaction levels.

Another thing. There's notes about the PA/SPR calling to check updates from Montreal call centre. It mentions who called, like PA, SPR or REP. I would think this helps the application in terms of adding weight to your relationship. I had called to check status, for SA and also for missing docs on behalf of my wife. And it all shows up there.

OLD SCHOOL CERTIFICATE?? only MATRICULATION is NOT enough for them? I bet 90% of applicant can't bring grade 5 or 8 from those old times! ANd if she gives Passport then why run after all those DOB proofs? Passport is a SOLID proof of DOBirth.

well they asked me also to submit the 05th and the 8th grade Mark sheets....
Luckily, i had them with me ...(Thanks to my Mother for keeping them safe)
Also, they asked me to submit the Birth Certificate for the third time ...i had already done it twice
I seriously wonder, how they are actually processing the files without looking at the documents properly and asking documents that arent even relevant
My files were transferred on May 10 to NDVO. Application submitted one Jan 3. Received on Jan 10. My medical test is done & passed. What’s taking NDVO so much time to process the background check. What are the next steps.

Guess its SOP for them at CPCM!!
Jan 2018 applicants might feel what Oct 2017 apps are feeling. Since the winter intake for students start in Jan 2019 and they'll again shift resources to process student visas around that time slowing our Apps
7 months down and am looking at another 5 to be together!! Oh God!!

That's when your Security Clearance date is created. Mine is March 08 2018. Created but "Not Started" till now.
Earlier it meant Security Clearance started, now its just the date thats created. Some people notice changes like blank or N/A later in the process which indicates that NDVO might have actually started working on something.

Can someone reply my following request:
I have applied for PR for my spouse in 11/2017 and the application is in process in New Delhi. In the mean time my spouse applied for Ph.d admission to UFT and she got approved and necessary study permit was issued by New Delhi and my spouse landed in Canada. Can any one tell me when my spouses PR will be issued and how to endorse it on the passport.
