I heard people registered late after 40 years and was accepted. A relative in India she acquired legally a Late registration at the age of 40+ and nothing was questioned. It was 20 years back , may be they changed rules now. My wife had no Birth Cert. But I sent all her school certificates , so far so good.Hi all,
How many months are considered late for birth registration by cic?
Want to sponsor my wife from india. She was born in feb and birth registered in may same year, shall i consider it registered late and add other original docs as additional proofs or 4 months gap will not be considered registered late?
Pre-arrival is like : OK fellow you are accepted! Welcome to Canada, here are few services ONLY for a new comer like you. One can ignore all invitations . But rest assured it is a Green Signal rest is up to the train when they move it.What is the pre-arrival?
I agree submitting as many proofs is always a good idea but my problem is i don't have multiple original school certificates and i don't want send the one i have and sit empty handed after that.My answer is yes ..submit whatevr proof you can as per checklist
Check with birth and death registration office for your state taht how many days is considered late but I think it’s the same for every state which is within 21 days of birth so anything later than that is late
My husbands was only 10 days after his birth but still we did submit evrything and an affidavit of self declaration
Birth certificate is a very imp document so I submitted evrything with our app to avoid any further delays later in process
So I strongly recommend yes submit evry additional valid proof you can
Thank you very much fir advice sir but i dont have multiple original copies of her school certificate, is it ok if i send duplicate notarized?I heard people registered late after 40 years and was accepted. You don’t need to submit original of any document unless asked for and even in that very case they return the originals after the processI agree submitting as many proofs is always a good idea but my problem is i don't have multiple original school certificates and i don't want send the one i have and sit empty handed after that.
They do not ask originals of anything except PCC. Send certified of the original and if needed translated certifiedThnak
