I have a doubt. Do I need any other travel document other than passport and COPR letter to travel to Canada for the first time? Please help

I did not notice that BGC line was changed when! Now bottom 2 lines are like this:-
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
BUT I think it will take another 3 to 4 months just for Background check Any comments or any 1 gone thru similar ?
JULY Applicant, Med: passed Oct
I think wife 's application in IP2 stage anyone if I am wrong?

And my file processing start on 18 July 2018 that means NDVO has started processing my file.

But till date I do not have any update? Anyone can guide me please.

Due to students applications overload and this Holiday's season; I won't expect any updates till mid JAN 2019. rest is luck anyting can happen anytime. Take care

Med Req- 1st June
NDVO started processing my file:- 18 July 2018

But till date no update?
