i checked on automated system, it still says " we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirement, medical passed, no interview needed, no bio-metrics needed, bgc has not started yet"file transfer date is Nov 26, 2018, no new on BGC
Very sad thing. Did you try getting GCMS The Global Case Management System (GCMS) is Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s (CIC’s) single, integrated and worldwide system used internally to process applications for citizenship and immigration services.
It will show all actions in the file and nothing wrong in getting notes= no adverse effect at all. Rather we come to know what doubts they have or if you see she is approved and interview is WAIVED, then gladly start complaining thru webform or more. Also it is late but only total of 10 months, total promised time is 12 months.

U wont believe it. I phoned she said this time,even if it shows but "no eligibility is being checked, nothing is happening on the file and our file is still in Sydney, and yours is in NDVO. In my opinion both files are waiting in a big lineup. Some day they will have to move it 4 sure we all know but this waiting is surely painful. As per past history ND does not touch a file for 3 months; may be a bit faster now ! Here is what was in the past says 6 months nothing started 4 all :-what they check in eligibility exactly? it is taking so long

i dont know, but every agent give different answers to our questions in cic. but again, they are just call center agents.they don't know exactly what the officer is working on.

"Many applicant's cases there is no movement in a file for months at a time even when notes by immigration officer says relationship is genuine (Notes obtained by applicant through Access to Information Act). It is unfair to keeping loved ones separated for months when the visa officer is convinced about the authenticity of the relationship and when no additional documents are being awaited for."
But things got better above was from a petition 3 years ago. Keep our fingers X-ed

Exactly ;she said we are NOT immi Officers , we are Call center employees, dont know how they are workingi dont know, but every agent give different answers to our questions in cic. but again, they are just call center agents.they don't know exactly what the officer is working on.
i got sa letter on nov 9, 2018. on nov 27, i received a transfer letter to nvdo
anyone knows how long they take to send application to NDVO after medical pass. is it necessary that they send it to NDVO or they process here at missisaga sometimes also?
I wonder if anyone is same boat???
