I don’t understand that why they wrote single in that letter as my wife has sponsored me?

Seriously,
May be it's typing mistake in your COPR letter. I think you should consult to your visa application centre from where you have applied for COPR and visa.
Basically, I do not have more idea on this things bcoz I am waiting for my passport with visa and COPR.

And may be some1 would give you better advise who already have gotten Visa and COPR.

You can email to the same email and ask them to change Visa office.. Between from which visa office did you receive the email?

Thanks. I got another update from my MP office yesterday and immigration told them security is still pending and to follow up again in Feb 2019. That’ll be 9 months into security and 20 months since we submitted the application in June 2017. How depressing...

I think you just need to make sure you’re in Canada before the temporary visa in your passport expires.
