Hi, How you knew that your application is stuck in security ?

Only guess you can make is BGC has started and it ad been 2-3 months no clue, in this case applicant must had been to many countries over 6 months . SO they will check background from all countries. There is no other confirmed way, just to sit and wait .

I know because when I did MP enquiry, they followed up with Immigration and then they informed me that all steps are passed and now they are processing security which is the last step.

I was told that checks will also be done from countries that have been visited (ie less than 6 months stay) - that might be why our security is taking so long.

Hi Shiju kalyadan, My application took almost one year to send over to LVO(New Delihi). But most of the others applications sent over with in 1 or 2 months. Why it took so long for my application any idea? When your application sent over to LVO.

Hi singleman, i don't know why it took almost one year to send my application to LVO. Where as others applications are sent in 2 to 3 months. I didnt come across any one whoose application is waited to one year before sending to LVO. Any suggestion or guess. Thanks in advance.

OK there are applicants who are waiting for no reason. NDVO don't usually update or say they are so busy to tell every 1 a reason for delay. If you are well over 1 year time line go ahead contact your local or even any MP of your choice. Then they will have to give an answer to MP within 7-10 days but NOT to you as I wrote above. For security there are many things they check, it is possible NDelhi Govt or Dist is delaying the reply not the Visa office even nothing wrong. I don't know your time line too.

According to your GCMS notes, are the other steps in your application approved? Criminality, medical and eligibility? Did you get prearrival letter?

0= clear , so it's GOOD news that background is clear done. Just few more days NOT months

That status was in March 2018. Since then still waiting.

I have same situation. June 06, 2017 applicant, Did MP inquiry twice. Still no update. Also request GCMS notes, under GCMS notes looks like they haven't touched file since March 2018.

I Wil inform you if any update for my application anyway they have asked remedical on August 10.if your medical expired they may ask
