I don't think it should take longer than usual for cops....my husband's friend is in punjab police as well and he got his within the standard time i.e.12 months.....have you tried the web form? that might help? It shouldn't take this long just because your husband works for government :-/

My remedicals passed today [had done medicals on July 17, pre-arrival received July 17]. Waiting for DM and PPR [Sept 29 applicant].

Hey...I am a Sept 29,2017 applicant; this month they are processing September so I got the request last week.

My medicals had expired, hence they requested for re-medicals.

They will request for it when applications for that month you applied are processed (like in my case).

Wow...you are way due for an update. Why don't you write to them about it? You are entitled to a reply if your application has exceeded normal processing time.

Write to them : delhiimmigration@international.gc.ca
Provide the following details on your email to them:
Your application number;

Surname and Given name(s);

Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD);

Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number or Passport number;

MP should follow up again...they have exceed processing time..push for MP follow up and also send e-mail to the embassy directly. You have croseed normal processing time, pump up the pressure.
