at the least august 2018! they are currently finishing up April and hopefully starting May 2017 applicants soon. You got some waiting to do- unless you are one of the lucky ones to be selected for the pilot program (which takes 6-7 months in total)

That makes no sense. Most April applicants got DM in January which is 9 months of wait, without any interview for most. The average wait time with NDVO is 9-10 months currently. Almost all May applicants are waiting right now (which means they are going on 9 months now)- So you are saying all of them are going to get interviews? So please don't make such statements when you are not sure about it. That raises anxiety in people who are patiently waiting.
First of all nobody here is sure about anything here if you are telling me to be sure before I say something ... Second, I said I THINK. I haven’t made any damn sure statement. So...... you don’t need to get upset

The maximum time of one year is only for 80% of cases; there’s still 20% that might take longer than a year.

Directly from the IRCC website:

If you haven’t applied yet or applied after December 7, 2016
We aim to process most (80 percent) of the new applications submitted on or after December 7, 2016, within 12 months of the date of receipt.

Dear Members

I have a query.

I am a Canadian PR but my wife and child are not as I got married after becoming PR.

Now I am planning to enter Canada in May and submit their sponsorship application.

May you please advise on the following

1. Since we have a child, will the file processing be quicker ?
2. Can i call them on visit visa while the file is in process ??

Please advise.

Thanks.

how Can I apply GCMS notes? can anybody help me

Hi Guys.
I'm back to the forum after 8 months. 8 months ago, Canadavisa was my home. Immigrated in June and now back to this page as I need some help. Not that I dint help anyone after immigration :D

So here's the list of questions I have:
1. What's the process (step-by-step guide) to bring in your spouse? There must be some thread for this one. Could you please redirect me?
2. My would be wife (Indian passport) is in the US currently on her OPT/Stem extension. Is it complex to process this in this scenario?
3. How long does it take to process the app? I read 12 months on the website of IRCC?
4. Is this a straightforward process as express entry? Or we need to go for agents to help us out?

Thanks in advance. Looking forward to be on this board throughout 2018.
Happy to help on immigration questions, if any.

Guys just to add, I'm not yet married. Just gathering information.
