Omg...i didnt know that. Wondering if we should apply for visitor visa for spouse and what are the chances they will approve that.....any idea

i was thinking too but 50/50 dpent if you have good reason for....

Hello people. Congratulations to all who got their ppr . I sent the application on Dec 23 and they received on Dec 29. I know it's a long wait before I can see any update on my file. I have a friend who sent the application in mid Feb and got the ppr by August and other friends who applied in june and july are still waiting on updates from Delhi office. One of the reasons that come to my mind for the delay is the festival season in india like Diwali navratri Christmas etc. Government employees he d to take leave during this season . Just a thought...Please share ur thoughts .

Hi and welcome to the forum! I applied in April 2017 and my bgc still says "not applicable" ...sooo I'm guessing this is normal and part of the waiting process lol

Congratulations to all successful applicants who will finally be united with their loved ones!
(as an April applicant myself, I'm happy to see most of you are from March lol it fills me with a little bit of hope) :)

Hi Guys,
Recently, my husband called up on the toll free CIC number to get updates on our case since we do not have access to GcKey. The automated voice message said that the processing time for spouse cases at present is 14 months. When checked on the site, it still says 12 months. Do you have any idea as to how true this information could be?

My husband just called Cic. So apparently 14 months is for applicants within Canada. It's still 12 months for outside Canada applications

Hey guys i was reading a few posts and found MP inquiry.
How do you do a MP inquiry? Do you need to call or email MP of your area and how do they help?
