your wife working in india??
mentioned in my post
"I had zero hopes on TRV as my wife was currently not working and didn't have anything to show ties to the home country other than my parents and her parents residing in India."

You gotta take the letter requesting for the medical, a copy of your passport, original passport and Rs. 4100.
Be there by 8am and you should be done with everything by 10 or 11am. There will be many visa applicants lined up on the same day as you. The Bandra Hospital is pretty organized so don't worry it will be quick and easy :)
Hey thx a lot for the info

Posting again as i didnt get a reply :(
Feb 2017 applicant. Finished interview last week.
GcKey previously said 'Bcg in progress. We will msg you when it starts'
But 5 days ago GcKey changed to 'Bcg in process. We will let you know if we need more info'.
Do any of you here know what this means? Has my bcg finally started? I haven't received a dm or anything other than the change in that line on GcKey. Please help :(

Yes means bcg in process. you are one step ahead from the rest of us so don't worry. Next step is DM and then PPR- could take few days to few months but you are on track!

Thank you so much for the reply

Is it no one from feb/march/apr getting DM/PPR at all or just ppl in this forum??? Out of words to express disappointment...
Reducing the pocessing time from 15-18 months to 12 months does not mean making everyone wait for 12 months...

After going through the forums so many times (lol!), I have seen a trend where if the application status of background processing does not change to Not Applicable and remains as "Your application is in progress......" they usually have potential interviews/ longer BCG?- Is this a correct trend that I have noticed or do we have people whose background processing changed to NA but were still interviewed? Can people please confirm/ dispute this trend please! (Specifically NDVO related post)

BGC field is never predictable.. only way 99% we can say no interview is in GCMS notes if we see interview waiver And recomended passed for eligibility...

i get that.. i just wanted to mention a trend i saw for those whose bcg never turned to NA prior to going to VO. just wanted to see if it is somewhat valid for this year.

its very hard even to comment without cursing NDVO and the people working there. All this process is draining more out of me than 8 hours of working.

all i can say is that we are so hopelessly f***** that we cant even get off it. Christmas and new years is coming soon and we will be away from our loved ones.
well i am going to india on 27th so atleast i will be able to spend the new year together. lets just hope that when its time for me to come back, she can come with me.
lets just hope this festive season we get the gift of our partners company in Canada. #PainOfSponsoring.

No comments guys !! My relationship is already ruined due to such a long process. Hopefully, some how I would able to save my marriage as condition is that worst at my side. Already in the 9th month still they are doing eligibility check forget about other checks :( !!

Can understand... even i said initially 6 months and 8 months max as mine is very straight forward one..

We are not expecting to get everything done in 3-4 months.. 6 months for direct casses is reasonable request... now 9+ already..

Anyways just hold on and try to handle situation as we almost there...
