Does NDVO process applications based on the date the application was received or based on AOR2? My application date is May 4th and AOR2 is June 19th. Still waiting!

my application is dated at 27th march, still BGC has also not started, god knows when the DM will come and PPR will come.
But i am keeping myself positive that by the end on this month i will hear a positive news. i also applied for the GCMS note to see what the officers remarks are on my file.

Hi all, my wife's PCC is about to expire in a week and we still haven't heard anything from NDVO. We are April 5th applicants and file was transferred to NDVO in June. Does anyone know what usually happens in this case? I'm assuming they are probably going to request for another PCC?

I am wondering if they are slowing down intentionally as they seeing some ppl getting Passport request in 4-5 months only
hopefully big batch of updates coming soon. Mine March 20 applicant and 8th may AOR2.
Also i got reply for email enquiry. though they are standard replies they send to every one. i seen different message from last time. anyone has idea what this really mean? or Is it is random reply to anyone?
on Aug 7th :- your application is currently awaiting review by a visa officer.
Sep12:- The application is under review by an officer.

on Sep9th got GCMS notes on 06/23 only i see the first review complete. Pending second review from than.

I replied to AOR2 email i got from delhi. I just asked like last communication was aor2 after that 5 months since no update and Just want to make sure every going fine and latest status on my file. Make sure you give details in mail like uni/file no, full name,DOB. And subject line added my application number.

Is NDVO in very slow or i am getting impatient. Feeling like they forgot about our files and moved on.

Got our notes today and here is the summary:

Eligibility: recommend passed
Security: not started (nothing in the corner as well)
Criminality: passed
Medical: passed

Any idea what this means and how much longer we might have to wait? April 25 applicant. AOR2 July 27.

Hi All. If the principal Applicant comes to Canada on a visitor visa and meanwhile receives PPR. Where can the passport be submitted? Do he/she need to go back to India for passport submission?

Not required. send a request letter to the email ID they would have provided along with PPR email or Call CIC and let them know.. they will guide you how to get the CoPR & Visa stamped within Canada itself. Once you get the Passport back you will have to do a flag polling for the landing process

PCC valid for 1 year. Either get new one and send via webform or wait for a request to submit.
