Dear All,

Require your help on urgent basis.

I am living presently in X city of Gujarat State in India and my homwtown is Y city of Gujarat State in India.

I am going to apply in Canada PR and in Background check form they are asking personal history and last 10 year Residence history.

Shall I take PCC from my hometown PSK as my passport is on hometown address and I don't have any residence proof of my current city address?

And if I will take PCC from hometown PSK then can it will create any problem in my PR application as I mentioned different city as a current residence city?

Please help and guide urgently.

Get the PCC from hometown PSK as that's the address in your passport. You'll get it on the same day...no police verification etc

If you apply from your residing city PSK you'll face issues..I had to go through a lot..finally had to *take care of* the policeman who came for police verification..hope nobody reads this :/

In any case don't worry PCC doesn't mention your address..only passport number & name. So get the PCC from your hometown

This is to inform that I got my DM and PPR today. It was a long wait full of stress and depression. I’m a November 2 applicant and I obtained pre arrival on 5th of September.
Thank u everyone for being so supportive, specially Teddy who had been always by my side as a very very good friend.
I wish u all good luck. All we can do is keep calm and wait although that’s not an easy task at all.

My file was transferred to NDVO on 19th of May and they had received on 22nd of May.
