For those who recently got their passport stamped with the visa (and are still checking this forum lol), how long was your visa valid for? I’ve heard in most cases it’s valid for 2-3 weeks only. Thoughts?

I have seen people getting it for 7-8 months...at the minimum you can expect 2-3 months. For those who recently got their passport stamped with the visa (and are still checking this forum lol), how long was your visa valid for? I’ve heard in most cases it’s valid for 2-3 weeks only. Thoughts?
You can and it will not affect processing time. Tourist visas these days taking way longer...less chances of approval if your sponsorship applciation is in progressHi friends,
Can one apply for tourist visa when file is under process and no medical has done.
Will it effect the processing time?
This depends on what notes the initial case officer in Mississauga has put in your file. The case office in NDVO will pick it up and proceed. Generally here they will check your medicals....request remedical if medicals have expired, ask for interview if required...but the longest part here is the security and criminal checks that are done by 3rd party agency which takes the longest.Hi everyone,
I have a question:
1- When NDVO receives the application, and starts processing as it says in ECAS, what are the next steps until you get DM & Passport \Request?
Do they actually start working on the applicant's file or once its done in Mississauga that's all.
In the status msgs iin GC key t says: Medical passed, BGC passed, No additional documents needed, no interview required, no finger print required, application is in progress. do they still re-do all these steps or that is finalized by CPC-Mississauga and its final?
Help needed.
When is your interview date and share your timeline? Thanks!
This question is as confusing as the question of how the Universe and all the matter in it were created! Lol!What happens once the file is transferred to Delhi? What is the process till the PPR request is send? What takes them so long ?
