did it ever say updated when u got "pre arrival or dm"?

Bgc status changed on Feb 22 after receiving Pre arrival. After that, gc key update happened on March 21 with visa details.

Thanks, I have no idea what PAT3 means ... rumour is that it stands for Photo Admissibility Test and there are several levels and ours is 3 ... VO is not convinced with the "photos" we submitted for relationship proof !
some ppl either got a call seeking an explanation or email asking for more photos ! My wife got phone call (twice) which she missed however the VO was convinced the relationship is genuine based on our background, conversations screenshots etc...

Same here how can we do case specific enquiry or do MP enquiry? Because it’s getting too long now.

I m also april applicant, my husband had a telephonic interview in d first week of Feb, I called cic, current status says background check in process since Feb 27. after dat no update . I m thinking to go for MP inquiry... don't know why they r taking so long.

PAT 3 is nothing!! I had that in my gcms notes as well. So dont worry!

yes. its in my notes too. They even mentioned that they are satisfied with photos and marriage looks genuine. No phone interviews too.

there is photo taking facility in VFS Bangalore. Not sure about others. you can check their website for more details.

We got “updated” thing on gc key few hours before getting prearrival and dm. But it changed to submitted after

I got the updated thing on GC key too and to my high hopes I thought the same that DM or Pre Arrival is on its way but I was wrong. In my case my wife got a call from NDVO on 22nd March afternoon and when I checked the status after that was "Updated" there. I didnt got anything after that from their side.
I think the other reason of this status change is when they make changes/put in notes or something, the application will get the status changed to Updated.
