Glad for you mate. My wife's also in Afghanistan and her bgc also says we are processing... before transferring it to ndvo. Just a question about pcc. Did you get it from afghan embassy or consulate in Canada cuz for my wife they issued a letter to afghan consulate in Toronto and got it from there but not sure if that's exactly what they want. Cuz in the pcc i got from toronto only mentions my wife's first and last name nothing else like dob or passport number etc. Was it same with yours in order for them to actuall6 know that this pcc belings to this specific person.. let me know please

What's the pcc? Is it the criminality check cause I got that from afghan embassy in Ottawa. Your question regarding the name I cant really answer it because when I submitted my application I send them everything at once like the criminality check the scedule A, so I dont really remember if it said the DOB or the Passport number but it did say his name so urs should be fine.

I just found a copy of the criminality check and it says the name of the PA, his father's name, his DOB and his POB.

i think you mean "your application is in progress...." yeah as i had predicted before those with this bgc status usually get late updates. However, what i would like to know is that those from afghanistan who had been waiting since march and april - why didn't they get this update?
I am so annoyed. I wish things were clearer.
Could people who visit their forum often let us know if your BGC status was NA before is it still NA? did it change/ not change in yesterday's update?

LOL you talkin about me? haha Sorry I was feeling too bummed out that the update might be a glitch so I logged off without posting anything... But yes my BGC changed from "not applicable" to "we are processing your background check." And so did the documents tab change to "we are reviewing the additional documents you provided" even though we haven't provided anything in months. No update on ECAS though - that still looks the same.
