Congrats to everyone who has background check in process. It seems like way too much applicants got updates. That’s great. Hope NDVO finally started working as they supposed to. Last year my friend had his application completed in 3and half months. So the change will be for good. It would have been better at least they follow month by month order. April, May applicants waited a lot. Leaving earlier applicants for people who applied after 5-6 months would not be an easy thing for early applicants emotionally.

Hey my bgc did change but my additional docs is still saying we need more docs and that they’ll send me a letter or email correspondence. That has been like that since the start -_- so I’m guessing it’s nothing to be concerned about as long as bgc changed right??

My representative told me my eligibility and bcg is in progress from feb 6. How long does it take from here for dm or ppr? May applicant. And how you guys check your bcg and ppr by yourself. Because i dont know about that. What is the process? Please reply!

I don’t know why NDVO is not following any kind of pattern. Last week it was, pre arrival message+ bgc then next day DM. This week, there are is no pre arrival, straight bgc update. Hope there will be a mass update soon.

I just called cic and automated message says that my bgc is in process. What is the next step after bgc? How long does it take to get the ppr?

when do they ever follow a pattern?. they never even sent pre arrival emails last year at all.. straight bgc and then DM. but last few weeks they ve sent pre arrival emails... don't get it. hope its not a glitch and we all can leave here and be happy.
