Did the PCCs from the countries expire? If no, they except for NZ you should have a scanned copy of it, correct....mail that copy to them and in the same email document it clearly that you have submitted them all the three PCCs on so and so date and here is another copy for the inquiry again. If they have expired, then you will have to get them all again and submit it to them.

I could suggest to be honest and answer questions as asked on the wedding, be careful on the details as you must have mentioned on you sponsor relationship questionarie. I believe the officer would make a judgement accordingly.

Yes i dont have my husband name on adhar card and passport. You need to take attestation from the city where you got married.

Thanks. Can you also guide me on what additional proofs did you provide to show the tie up with your husband?

- Did you provide Ration Card copy? If yes, was that the one with parent's family or spouse's family.
- Did you show any joint bank accounts?

Will appreciate the help. Thanks.

I suggest you to be honest and keep your answers same as on the questionnaires. Avoid one or 2 liners and be as descriptive as you can be.

If your responses on the questionnaires were pretty detailed or elaborate, simply stick to them.

Remember to keep the facts in CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER like:
-how you met
-who introduced you when you guys met
-was there a vichola(middleman) involved
-what you guys talked about
-how you both felt about the first meeting
-how you guys remained in contact communicated in between when you met first and when you got married (phones, emails, whatsapp, facebook, skype)
-did you guys go out for any shoppings, outings, photo shoots before marriage
-did you guys meet each others` friends or relatives before marriage
-talk about ring ceremony or roka or shagan or whatever ceremony prior to marriage involving both of you
-talk briefly about excitement in run up to your marriage, briefly about marriage day.
-a bit about any outing or honeymoon or post wedding photo session etc

-then talk about when you guys went to see you off when you had to leave back for Canada.
-how you guys keep in touch from then till now.
-how often you guys communicate
-simple things like nick names for each other (if you guys have any)
-any plans you and your spouse have when you guys will be together.

the outcome of the answer should be that you guys have had a growing or a blossoming relationship ever since you met first.

be prepared if they ask for any sort of proofs, so stay honest.

Good Luck... you will nail it.

Hi Guys, I just wanted to know if my wife and I need to open a joint bank account in India. I am a Canadian PR. Will it be a benefit?

Also, my wife has my name in her passport but her parental home address instead of mine. Will that be a problem? Do we need to have common Indian address in her all ID proofs? Her's is the parental address for Aadhar card and Passport.
