it was rejected at primary stage no one misguided ...we were not able to fill form properly so my husband had interview in ottawa after that wee got rejection than we reapplied and sponsorship we got reciept as we got eligible and file was send to delhi and in jan '17 suddenly i got call from ndvo asked few question and requested a rejection lettter and than status changed to decision made

If couple living together from 6 years and cic ask for interview. i will not have chat or call logs. what can I take with me. I hope no interview but you never know

So you are saying that first your husband submitted application to Mississauga, which was rejected ?

bcz there was lot of mass in his address and job which this time we solved and for the same he was interview initially applied in june 16 08/08/2016 sponsorship eligibilty passes ,delhi 19/08 receipt ,interview in jan/17

Proof of living together since 6 years. Tenants agreement/ joint bank statement/ proof of nominees etc should help

you said that the decision Made on Jan 31st 2017

It's only three working days since Jan 31st 2017.

It takes 1-3 weeks to get passport request to issue PR visa.

Don't worry !!! I think you are overthinking so much !!

Take rest and enjoy your weekend !!

You will get Passport Request with in three weeks.

Greetings! I have a doubt. I am an Indian living is Canada as a PR. I am about to file my an application to sponsor my wife. We got married around a month back and she added my name in her passport as a husband name. But, we didnt change her address to my Indian address (my parental home) and it's still the same as her parental home. I wanted to know if that will be an issue?

Do we need to add the spouse's name on her Aadhar card as well?

I think no need to change adress on adhar card. As i have submitted mine with my mother's home adress as i have it on my passport and adhar card. And i dont even have my husbands name on my passport. I just have marriage cert. attested with ministry of external affairs thats it.

if status shown on file is "In Progress" with these three bullets.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 14, 2016.
2. We started processing your application on August 26, 2016.
3. Medical results have been received.

I think no need to change adress on adhar card. As i have submitted mine with my mother's home adress as i have it on my passport and adhar card. And i dont even have my husbands name on my passport. I just have marriage cert. attested with ministry of external affairs thats it.

Just wanted to clear one thing then. When you say marriage certificate attested with ministry of external affairs, how do you get that?

Yes i dont have my husband name on adhar card and passport. You need to take attestation from the city where you got married.

I have the same thing showing since I received first AOR 1 from Canada. I also received a letter from india high commission asking to submit PCC and Pay the fees if I haven't yet which I already did so I wrote a letter back to them giving them the proofs again that it was been done.... I am confused if that's a sign of my file moving or what ? Btw I am nov 25 2016 applicant. I know a lot of people here are getting PPR's for June but I have heard from some people how they got PPR's in 4-5 months... I hope our file is that exception too... I hope we all get through this thought time of waiting game soon.... it's really hard especially when you can't even go to meet with your husband in india... a lot of frustration, distance and what not...

Finally good news for us. Got my Wife's passport request last week.

Here's my timeline
Applied: 18th April, 2016
Medicals: done upfront on 17th March, 2016
AOR 1 (CIC-Mississauga): 6th May, 2016
AOR 2 (New Delhi): 31st May, 2016
Received letter to provide more photos on 17th Oct, 2016 - provided the same within 1 week
Passport Request: 31st Jan, 2017 - sent passport to Ottawa same day as my wife is here on visitor visa

Currently awaiting for passport to be returned.
