Congrats, give it 1~2 weeks for PPR. They don't have a formula for this, they send out the request as and when they please.

Agreed, I got my DM on Jan 25th, still waiting for PPR.

I have applied for my wife's spouse visa in April 2016. We had a court marriage in India and same day a small reception kind of function. They started processing application on June 15 ,2016 at NEW DELHI IMMIGRATION OFFICE and ask for additional documents on 7th Sep,2016 with the deadline date of 7th Oct 2016. After that we did not receive any response. would anyone can help me ?
My friend had applied for her spouse visa in FEB,2016 and she got her visa in November .My wife's friend had aplpied in march and they got an interview in January 2017 .

If you submitted your documents which they asked for, then just sit back and wait. There's no logic in comparing your file to that of your friends or others. There is absolutely no logic or sense in which NDVO picks up files so please don't go that route, its useless.

There is no guarantee and no certainty in this news. CIC will not know as to what individual VOs are / aren't doing. So its very difficult to say anything. From what logic dictates to me, the NDVO shouldn't be responsible for the Student Visas, that task should be given to the other VOs in India.

It depends on CIC as to how they take it. We make it simpler for ourselves for tracking purposes. I submitted my application and it was received a day or two later but this is not the same for folks mailing in from India. Hope my confusing answers clears the confusion above ;D ;D ;D

For all new applicants its officially 12 months to render a decision. Now you will be contacted directly for DM (Decision Made) if nothing else stands out in your file and then Passport Request for stamping. All you have to do it relax and wait for it happen. Current stampings from the date of submission are happening in 7~10 months.

Thank you !
