bg check goes in progress on 5-7 months after file is transferred to NDVO.

If applications are processed according to date of receiving.. then There are applications those were filed in June but received in July.. n they got DM and PPR.. :-X

If you read carefully those July applications are not to NDVO. Unless you are not from India then you should be worried.

So from yesterday there are some changes in my ecas...its showing complete address of mine which was showing just my village name before And If i opened the ecas with my partner UCI number its showing her permanent application status as well which she filed in 2014 with current application status. Dono what that means but its very nice to see some updates in our profile.
And another thing is I cant link to my cic account because of representive.

Yeah I do..though it took quite long to link my application..
But since October there are no updates..
Application status-open
Review of eligibility is in progress..
Medicals are passed..

MP is member of parliament and you need to check online which MP serves your riding and go to his office in person and explain the situation

It's nothing to worry about. The name and D. O. B is just in case the picture are mixed with other pictures or get loose from file

Do not worry at all. I submitted the passport same day at chd vsf office n its not necessary to write name n dob... i also did not write n dn got it today with visa stamped....
