Do we know what is the processing time for online TRV application?
I dont think there is any such category which shows online application processing times other than "Visitor visa (from inside Canada)"

You can always have your PPR stamping done in Canada. You dont have to come back to India for it. Do you already have a TRV?

Jus imagine, you can't travel outside without passport. How would you travel when yor passport is submitted for stamping. In Canada you are a permanent resident but outside Canada you are a person belonging to the country where the passport is originated.

Yes, I know that we can't travel without passport or while passport is submitted for stamping. I am talking about 3 months duration time, what is that?
Passport stamping would take 1-2 weeks, then why is that 3 months time mentioned to stay in Canada after passport request?

[No planning as I booked my tickets on end Feb and. There is very less chance that by that time I'll get my PPR as I M July applicant .so thought of going thru TRV ..was bit confused.and how much time will it take for TRV .]

I have a query
I am in Canada right now, and my wife is in Singapore.
Passport has to be submitted to vfs in India, so I am going to collect my wife's passport from Singapore and submit at vfs Bangalore. Since she can't get holidays for the time being.
So when I submit the passport for her should I bring anything with me to the vfs other than passport, photos and fee.
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks

Call CIC to request them for your stamping to be done in Europe if travel is not in your plans for India in the nearest future.

So if assume correctly, you dont have a TRV. TRV timelines are different and please visit the CIC page to get those. Once you land in any Visa in Canada, even though your visa is for 10 yrs multiple entry, your stay can only be for 6 months or depends on how much the officer gives you at the entry. So in fair, it can be from one day to 180 days tops. No guarantees for 3 months which you are thinking off
