Hello, I have a question.CIC asked for my divorce decree,court order but all i sent is divorce deed which is not a valid proof and i realized that after sending it to CIC.I have been given a time untill Feb 2017. I am afraid on this base CIC will reject my wife's PR. Is there any option of taking time from CIC to arrange document and meanwhile they dont make any decision. because these documents will be ready after 6 mnths as per court procedure.

Did you submit the divorce certificates with your application? Is it diff from divorce deed?

B'cuz i have only submitted the certificates from the Indian local offices and nothing from the courts or Canada. Just wondering if i should be working on this ahead of time to avoid this in the near future if it were to come back to me from NDVO.

Hubby received his PPR today! I think tomorrow is the last working day until probably 27th so hopefully he will get it back by end of next week? His cousin is dropping it by hand tomorrow at VFS in New Delhi along with his 2 photos and the letter copy.

Application filed May 3.
They requested to for medical again for my wife and kid. GCMS notes said medical has been completed/passed and ECAS said medical received on July 6th.
Kind of worried now. Can anyone guess what might be going on?

My CIC Status:

App Status - Open
Review of eligibility - Review in progress
Review of Medical - Review in progress
Interview - Not needed at this time
BGC - Not started
Final decision - Not started

ECAS - 3 lines

App received - May 3
We started processing app - July 6
Medical results have been received

I applied for Sponsorship of my husband and 2 children on May 25th with old medicals which expired in August.

I received re-medicals on 21 December 2016.But received re-medicals only for my husband and my younger son.

I called CIC yesterday and about this and the agent said that the email was generated for 3 persons but it was not sent for one of them.She asked me to wait for 5 days and give a call if i dont get the mail.She also said that it will take an other 20 days to process from then

What do I do now.I want to do medicals for all 3 of them together.How do I get in touch with CIC

This doesn't mean medical results were received on July 6. Medical results are valid for one year from the date it is done at hospital and not from the date you submitted. I hope you know these already..

If you did medical around 11 months ago, then CIC might be requesting for re-medical, which is completely normal. In case you did medical recently, then the results might be having some issues for which re-medical is requested. Good Luck..

Has it been 5 days? I would wait as suggested by them and reconnect again

Today we got PPR for my wife.
May 11th Applicant.
BGC was in progress from 9th December
DM - 20th December
PPR - 22 December

No MP Enquiry done.
No GCMS notes requested
Wife is currently in Canada with me.
Congrats to my fellow folks who got PPR as well today and best of luck to rest of the applicants
