How can I call CIC ? any phone number

Please share

Thanks

I had trouble linking my app until I tried this combination:
All caps locks first and last name only, leave uci and app blank.
Enter city of birth and country also in capslock. Lastly, enter 2 in number of applicants.
Make sure you're entering ing PA's information exactly as submitted to them.

Visa is stamped for Maximum of 6 months or the date your medical expires, whichever date comes first. our Medical was expiring on 31 Jan so when our Visa was stamped last week it was stamped till 31 Jan.

Thanks Rainasar, my medical will expire august 2017, so i was not sure about the visa.

If they keep working on applications, You can expect it in 2-3 weeks. Seems really vague these days, some get it in week others had to wait for over a month.

Hope for the best and soon reply!

fingers crossed hope every1 get there pr sooner than expected

Since now you have AOR2 try now for TRV you have more chances of approval. show strong ties to india like property, job etc

I never understood this. Obviously, the end result is that the person living in India is trying to get RID of their ties to India in order to come to Canada (sometimes on short notice, depending on when medical expires etc some people got a Visa with only 1 month validity to literally end their entire life and ties in India (financially, career, family, assets, everything). So I do not understand the need in CICs mind to show strong ties to issue a TRV for a spouse who is coming to Canada soon... doesn't make sense. The SAME CIC wants them to drop all those ties at a momen'ts notice to land.

There should be some different TRV for spouses, who pass all initial checks on their PR application (meaning no huge red flags - as long as their PCC etc are included and check out) then they should be able to issue a TRV with multiple entry validity for like 1-2 years for spouses. This ONE thing will alleviate the whole waiting thing for spouses in this huge backlog!

Wholeheartedly agree with you! If only they applied some common logic.

Got Decision made on Nov 7 still haven't received PPR. Applied notes and sent email last Monday. I am planning to visit local MP office today.
Don't know where my file is stuck.

Wondering anybody with a case of delay in getting PPR after getting decision made?

Cheers
Varadar

Any update for you?

Help Required..!!!

About PCC Requirement

I am going to apply for my spouse. She is from punjab and working in pune.

1. What is the best way to get PCC and Is it compulsary to send PCC with the file or they may ask later as well.

2. Will the PCC be valid if I apply from PUne or Visa office will reject the file because as per passport her address is in punjab.

Your help will be highly appreciable

Thanks

To answer your first question, It is not mandatory to send PCC with original application, You can update it later as well but it is recommended to provide PCC along with original application.

I am not sure but I don't think it will matter to the visa office as PCC will be from applicants current country of residence only. I do not have much experience to answer this question.
