That's unusual, lets not panic till you get the letter in the post or the mail. I am sure its a standard template to submit your passports, photos or receipt of fees paid and the usual stuff. All the best

2nd email on 10th november 2016 from cic file received in delhi shows status file received medical received
22th november request for landing fees (rprf) and pcc
status change to we are processing your file on 22nd nov and file received medical received

can some one put some light on it how long it will take from now.

Since now you have AOR2 try now for TRV you have more chances of approval. show strong ties to india like property, job etc

Visa is stamped for Maximum of 6 months or the date your medical expires, whichever date comes first. our Medical was expiring on 31 Jan so when our Visa was stamped last week it was stamped till 31 Jan.

That's a little bit generous... we are now working in month 11 - in a few weeks we'll be working on month 12. Not sure how many are left from January - February but for sure we are! We do have BG in progress now since 11 Nov. But even that's now been over the two weeks that everyone has been saying. So it could go over 1 year.

hi, i wanted to know can i order gmcs notes application was filed on may 4th 2016
and what exactly is listed in the notes?

GCMS Notes can be ordered anytime (I applied mine last month and received on 29th day), You can expect to find information/status of eligibility check, Background check etc. It could be helpful in some cases and not so much in other cases, totally depends on how far your application is and how much work immigration officer has done on your application.

As a side note, I applied for my husband on May 4th, 2016 (So we might have same timeline). My notes were not so helpful but keep in mind I applied end of October so there might have been some progress made by now.
