We have background in progress since 11 Nov (and we took a long time to get to this point as we are January applicant) how much longer till we see DM and PPR? I see some got PPR who went BG in progress even way later like 25 Nov, it seems my husbands application is slower at every step than everyone else for some reason. Could it be that he lives in Kashmir? (He's Sikh living in Srinagar). Could that be why our application has been so slow compared to everyone else on here?

Yes, I know it's so frustrating and depressing but stay positive and divert your mind with some other activity.
It's all matter of luck and they can clear BG within few hours if the officer is not lazy.
I pray that you get PPR this week for your husband. Also he did remedical on 16 Nov, so it will take around 7-8 days to get report to NDVO and they check PCC and medical both to clear BG stage.
So don't worry, you will hear soon for PPR.

His medical showed passed again since 20th. It only took them 4 days to get that.
